1. Let’s Dive In
   Let’s keep it simple.

Walking with Jesus Christ is relatively simple, and many try to make it complicated.

God really isn’t concerned about how good you are, how many deeds you have done, how much you give, or waiting until you’re perfect for Him. We’ll never be perfect. Don’t get me wrong, those things we should strive for, of course. Instead, his concern is whether or not you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. If you have Jesus Christ in your life, He will make your paths straight. You’ll want to do better.

An acquaintance of over 20 years asked me why I believed the way I do. And my response was the following, “The agony, the pain, the suffering, the sweating of blood, and everything else up to and including dying on the cross, when He was innocent, and we were guilty – I could at least do my best to please Him every day.” And some days, I disappoint, but He’s loving and forgiving if I ask. It’s a deep relationship beyond words.

The more time you chase Jesus Christ with all your heart, soul, and might, the more time He will spend with you.

Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. James ~ 4:8

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. ~John 14:6

1. Accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, and confess with your tongue that He died for your sins. He was raised from the dead, so you can have everlasting life.

2. Be baptized in the water.

3. Seek God in the name of Jesus Christ first for everything, no matter how small, and then you’ll seek Him for the significant challenges in your life.

4. Follow God’s word, ask forgiveness, and repent genuinely from the heart. We’re not perfect, God knows that, and He loves us dearly regardless.

If you do those things, you don’t have to worry about what you used to do, what you might do, what you want to do—remaining in His presence, you can’t stay the same. You’ll slowly transform unknowingly.

Have you ever asked, “Well, how is it?” And the response was the following, “You have to experience it.” The same is with Jesus Christ, who you can totally trust. No sin resides anywhere around Him. There is absolutely no cost. Knows you better than yourself, there’s no agenda, doesn’t want anything from you, and He just loves you. I could go on forever, but I said I would keep this short because – Let’s Keep It Simple.

Lastly, very important because the clock is ticking. So read and study when you have time.

Matthew 24:36 -44

The Day and Hour Unknown

“But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left.

“Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come. But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into. So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.

1. Let’s Dive In
   Abundance in Jesus Christ is not really conceived of from an earthly perspective. A tremendous and prosperous relationship with God in the Name of Jesus Christ is much more than earthly things. It includes the Fruits of the Spirit and much more, as I discussed in another post. Consider the following:

“And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.” ~ Philippians 4:19

That is an ALL statement from our Heavenly Father. And here is another:

“But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” ~ Matthew 6:33

“Very truly, I tell you, my Father will give you whatever you ask in my name. Until now, you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask, and you will receive, and your joy will be complete.” ~ John 16:23–24

Jesus discusses observing someone based upon their fruit, which doesn’t mean material or earthly things but heavenly and spiritual ones.

The bottom line is that you should seek God in the Name of Jesus,

in all things,

in all of your concerns,

in all of your questions,

in all of your challenges,

whatever your thinking.

You may not realize this, Talk to Him because He knows anyway. This is true abundance and prosperity. If God chooses to bless us on earth, we thank and praise Him in the name of Jesus. If not, we still thank and praise Him. He will provide you with the desires of your heart if you seek Him first in all things.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek His will in all you do.” ~ Proverbs 3:5–6

Finally, there is an absolutely incredible, awe-inspiring, and beautiful prayer. Read it whenever you have a moment.

It’s your girl, Selena. 

Celebrate yourself for all of the opportunities entertained in 2019. Furthermore, be thankful for your expressions of gratitude, regardless of size. God acknowledges the effort. Remember, Heknows the heart like no other. 

Upon reflection, 2019 was a year of learning, growth, and the realization that my strength resides within. My relationship with God has grown much stronger after I realized my life was like a ship slowly drifting at sea. I needed stillness to develop the skills to hone my heart, mind, intuition, and ears. God speaks in many different ways. We are surrounded by numerous beautiful and incredible souls. There are those with the best intentions who support us and care; however, only God knows the plans He has designed for us. Have you previously experienced such an internal challenge? It seems like a personal battle that resides within. 

Here is my wish for you in 2020: I pray that God will bless you with unimaginable and endless opportunities. I hope you will experience deep relationships that provide support—the types of relationships about which nothing can be said, but where those bonded with you can be there with a bottle of wine and say, “I’m here for you.” I wish you vitality and a wealth of energy and abundance. Lastly, I pray that you experience peace, gain wisdom and understanding, and remain grounded regardless of what surrounds you because when God’s got you, He has you. And you can continue your journey knowing that it’s handled. He will clear your path and move all mountains. God is not silent in your life.

You will have an incredible 2020. Please feel free to share your experiences.

Hello friends,

It’s your girl, Selena.

I as I think back upon my trip to Vail hiking the mountains, loads of effort was spent traveling, cost of the journey, and the lift ride to the top. The hike started, and we veered to the left, unbeknownst to us we chose the more challenging hiking path. Two hours into the hike, we look around and plop down, sharing a seat upon a rock. Suddenly, gazelles jump out of the brush, startling us to move and begin again. Shin splints made the trek even more challenging. We ask each other, “should be we go back? We’re not that far.” But we spent loads of effort in Peace traveling this specific journey; sometimes, it’s even more painful considering going back.

And every time we look back, it’s more challenging to move forward. We move slower, and we’re distracted. Have you ever noticed, you can move forward with ease as long as you remain living in the present? Don’t look back.

“You can’t fix a broken wagon wheel, but you can use the parts to make a new one.” – Yellowstone

I’m in awe of God. I will never forsake Him, nor will He leave me.  

I stated I would discuss FEAR. And it’s simple, Fear Your God. That’s it. And everything else will fall into place. 

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding – Proverbs 9:10

And you might ask, when do I know? How will I know? The answer will be when the communication just flows, and 5 minutes turn into hours. You’re not even watching the clock. The relationship feels effortless like it was handed on a silver platter. You feel terrific about yourself and the other individual. And you’re saying to yourself, “Oh my gosh, that’s just possibly one of the most amazing people I’ve ever met.” The following does not exist – envy, jealousy, anger, and competition because it’s the energy that God has placed in your heart and their heart. The relationship you’re seeking might even already exist in your life, but your attention has been drawn elsewhere. Remember, notice the whispers. 

I stated I would discuss Peace.

“I have told you these things so that in me you may have Peace. In this world, you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16:33

What brings me Peace:

God
Silence
Isolation
Prayer
Meditation
Yoga

Nature (Mountains, The Beach, Outside under the trees, watching wildlife, gardening, and finding a baby tortoise, etc.)
Rare Deep Bondships (Time with family and friends)

Hello friends,

It’s your girl, Selena.

I asked the question regarding what’s your definition of Manipulation a couple of weeks ago? And what’s the root of it or does it even matter? Things are not always what they seem. You don’t necessarily know a person’s intention, or you might. I say choose the right connections and partnerships because selecting anything less than ideal produces challenges and conflicts. Yes, I have trust issues, yet I’m perfectly fine with God, Jesus, and The Holy Spirit. A year ago, I started and completed several incredible personal development courses because I always thought the problem was me. I will continue the journey in late 2020 for growth; however, now I need the time time to digest and implement the information I’ve processed. I’ve taken the approach to look internally first. And I have allowed others to make me feel as if the problem was with me. 

“Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.” Albert Einstein

Sometimes we allow others to define us because of their status, accolades, and achievements, etc. During this time, you might feel this tug-of-war inside. Listen to the heart instead of what you might think – your thoughts. More than likely, it’s God. He’s trying to establish a deeper bond with us. A lifetime connection, not just a purposeful one. Furthermore, God will send people in your life when He deems necessary. There’s no reason to go and chase relationships when God will simply blesses you with the right connections.  

And you might ask, when do I know? How will I know? The answer will be when the communication just flows, and 5 minutes turn into hours. You’re not even watching the clock. The relationship feels effortless like it was handed on a silver platter. You feel terrific about yourself and the other individual. And you’re saying to yourself, “Oh my gosh, that’s just possibly one of the most amazing people I’ve ever met.” The following does not exist – envy, jealousy, anger, and competition because it’s the energy that God has placed in your heart and their heart. The relationship you’re seeking might even already exist in your life, but your attention has been drawn elsewhere. Remember, notice the whispers. 

Proverbs 15:22 

Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers, they succeed.

The above is true, only when you “Choose Right.” Or better yet, when God and His own Divine Council chooses for you. Until you find those earthly beings, you have an unlimited pool of advisors and Ones that will cause no harm and who are waiting to guide you in the right direction. And who actually knows what’s the right direction. 

John 10:27-28

My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand.

No one else can know what’s happening with you because God is only talking to you. So choose wisely because the adversary is watching as well. I know it’s challenging when all around you see the allure of it all. These amazing communities and fabulous circles. I’m there with you. I understand. 

Bottom line, you’re worthy of surprising deep loving connections that are effortless when God blesses you with them. And in your heart, you already know what’s right for you. Trust in you because you’re extraordinary.
